Aminooxy-PEG1-amine

Catalog No.: A93265
Biochemical Assay Reagent
Aminooxy-PEG1-amine is a versatile biochemical assay reagent characterized by its aminooxy and primary amine functionalities. The aminooxy group readily reacts with aldehydes to form stable oxime bonds, and can generate hydroxylamine linkages in the presence of reducing agents. Furthermore, the primary amine can engage with activated NHS esters or carboxylic acids in conjunction with coupling reagents such as EDC. This reagent is particularly valuable for applications in bioconjugation and molecular labeling, although it is sensitive and not suitable for long-term storage.
