AN3661
PfCPSF3 Inhibitor
AN3661 is a potent inhibitor of the Plasmodium falciparum cleavage and polyadenylation specificity factor homologue subunit 3 (PfCPSF3). It demonstrates significant antimalarial activity, inhibiting laboratory-adapted strains of Plasmodium falciparum with a mean IC50 of 32 nM and Ugandan field isolates with a mean ex vivo IC50 of 64 nM. AN3661 has also shown efficacy against murine models of P. berghei and P. falciparum infections, making it a valuable tool for malaria research and drug development.
