Antifibrotic agent 2

Antifibrotic Agent

Antifibrotic Agent 2 (Compound 636) is a polycyclic pyridinone derivative that targets and mitigates fibrosis-related pathways. This compound effectively reduces the accumulation of fibronectin and collagen, preventing excessive deposition of fibrous connective tissue in various organs. By modulating the proliferation and activation of fibroblasts, Antifibrotic Agent 2 facilitates the reversal or delay of tissue remodeling associated with fibrosis. It is particularly valuable for research focused on pulmonary fibrosis.
