Antitumor agent-36 is a potent anti-tumor reagent that primarily targets cellular proliferation and metastasis. It induces significant DNA damage, resulting in elevated levels of γ-H2AX and p53, which are critical markers of cellular stress. Additionally, this compound facilitates tumor cell apoptosis via the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway, engaging key proteins such as Bcl-2, Bax, and caspase-3. Antitumor agent-36 also enhances immune responses by downregulating PD-L1 expression, which promotes the infiltration of CD3+ and CD8+ T cells into tumor tissues, thereby supporting potential therapeutic applications in cancer immunotherapy.
