APETx2

ASIC3 Inhibitor

APETx2 is a selective and reversible antagonist of the acid-sensing ion channel 3 (ASIC3), derived from the sea anemone Anthopleura elegantissima, with an IC50 of 63 nM. By targeting the external region of the ASIC3 channel, APETx2 effectively inhibits its activity. This compound demonstrates significant potential in research applications aimed at investigating mechanisms of acid-induced and inflammatory pain relief.
