Apostatin-1

TRADD Inhibitor

Apostatin-1 is a potent inhibitor of TRADD, effectively binding to the TRADD-N domain (KD = 2.17 μM) and disrupting its interactions with TRADD-C and TRAF2. This compound modulates the ubiquitination processes of RIPK1 and beclin 1, thereby blocking apoptosis. By activating autophagy, Apostatin-1 restores cellular homeostasis in cells exhibiting accumulated mutant proteins such as tau, α-synuclein, or huntingtin, making it a valuable tool for research in neurodegenerative diseases and apoptosis regulation.
