Factor VIIa Inhibitor

ARC19499 is a specific inhibitor of tissue factor pathway inhibitor (TFPI), targeting the extrinsic pathway of coagulation. This aptamer effectively blocks TFPI's inhibition of both factor Xa and the TF/factor VIIa complex, facilitating enhanced thrombin generation. In research applications, ARC19499 has demonstrated the ability to correct thrombin generation in hemophilia A and B plasma and to restore clot formation in FVIII-neutralized whole blood, making it a valuable tool for studies involving coagulation disorders.
