Argyrin F

Antitumoral Agent

Argyrin F is a cyclic peptide that functions as an antitumoral agent. It inhibits cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and colony formation through mechanisms that include partial apoptosis induction and modulation of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Additionally, Argyrin F stabilizes p27kip, up-regulates p21waf1/cip1, and depletes COX2, making it a valuable tool for research on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC).
