ARN1468
Anti-prion Agent
ARN1468 is a potent inhibitor of SerpinA3n, functioning as an anti-prion agent. By inhibiting the activity of serpins, ARN1468 facilitates the release of proteases, subsequently reducing prion accumulation in affected cells. It demonstrates notable anti-prion efficacy in ScGT1 RML, ScGT1 22L, ScN2a RML, and ScN2a 22L cell lines, with EC50 values of 8.64, 19.3, 11.2, and 6.27 μM, respectively. This compound is valuable for research focused on prion diseases and their underlying mechanisms.
