Aspulvinone O

GOT1 Inhibitor

Aspulvinone O is a selective inhibitor of glutamate oxaloacetate aminotransferase 1 (GOT1), targeting glutamine metabolism. This compound effectively reduces NADPH production, leading to oxidative stress and apoptosis in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells. Aspulvinone O demonstrates significant inhibition of PDAC cell proliferation in vitro and reduces tumor growth in xenograft models, making it a valuable tool for cancer research and therapeutic analysis.
