Auroglaucin

Antioxidant

Auroglaucin is a powerful antioxidant that exhibits significant radical scavenging activity. It demonstrates effective DPPH radical scavenging with an EC50 value of 74.6 µM and demonstrates superoxide radical scavenging with an EC50 of 12.3 µM. Additionally, Auroglaucin displays limited efficacy in inhibiting the autoxidation of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). This compound can be utilized in research focused on oxidative stress and antioxidant mechanisms.
