Avanafil metabolite M4

Avanafil Metabolite

Avanafil metabolite M4 is a primary active metabolite of the selective phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor, Avanafil. It targets PDE-5 and exhibits significant biological activity by inhibiting cGMP hydrolysis, leading to increased cGMP levels which activates the NO/cGMP/PKG signaling pathway. This metabolite is relevant for research applications in the context of erectile dysfunction and osteoporosis, as it helps to mitigate bone mineral density loss, bone atrophy, and oxidative stress.
