AZD0233

CX3CR1 Antagonist

AZD0233 is an orally active antagonist of the chemokine receptor CX3CR1. By modulating the CX3CR1/CX3CL1 signaling pathway, AZD0233 exerts significant immunomodulatory effects. In preclinical studies, it has demonstrated the ability to enhance cardiac function while reducing macrophage infiltration and fibrotic scar formation in a murine model of dilated cardiomyopathy. This compound serves as a valuable tool for research into cardiovascular diseases, particularly in the context of dilated cardiomyopathy.
