AzGGK

Amino Acid

AzGGK is an unnatural amino acid designed for site-specific incorporation into proteins through genetic code expansion. It serves as a valuable probe for studying ubiquitylation and SUMOylation processes within cellular systems. Additionally, AzGGK functions as a click chemistry reagent, featuring an azide group that enables copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules, as well as strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with DBCO or BCN groups. Its unique properties make it an essential tool for probing protein interactions and modifications in biochemical research.
