Azido-PEG2-CH2COOH (CHA) is a versatile click chemistry reagent featuring an azide moiety that enables copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing compounds. This reagent is also compatible with strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) involving bicyclo[6.1.0]nonyne (DBCO) or bicyclo[6.1.0]dec-4-yne (BCN) moieties. Azido-PEG2-CH2COOH (CHA) is widely used in bioconjugation applications, enabling the development of complex biomolecules for research in chemical biology, drug delivery, and materials science.
