Azt-pmap

NRTI Inhibitor

Azt-pmap is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that functions as an aryl phosphate derivative of AZT, demonstrating significant anti-HIV activity. This compound serves as a versatile click chemistry reagent, featuring an azide group that enables copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, Azt-pmap is capable of undergoing strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with DBCO or BCN functionalized compounds, making it valuable for diverse research applications in chemical biology and drug development.
