β-Tocopherol

Vitamin E Analogue

β-Tocopherol is a vitamin E analogue that exhibits potent antioxidant properties. It has been shown to inhibit tyrosinase activity, thereby reducing melanin synthesis, and can counteract the inhibitory effects of d-alpha-tocopherol on cell growth and protein kinase C (PKC) activity. This compound is valuable in research focused on skin pigmentation, oxidative stress, and cell signaling pathways.
