Batiraxcept is a selective inhibitor of the AXL receptor and GAS6, targeting the GAS6-AXL signaling pathway. With a high affinity for GAS6 (KD <1 nM), Batiraxcept inhibits the interaction between GAS6 and AXL, thereby disrupting downstream signaling through the PI3K/AKT and MAPK pathways. This mechanism leads to a reduction in tumor cell glycolysis, angiogenesis, and metastatic potential. Batiraxcept has demonstrated significant antitumor activity in preclinical models of endometrial, cholangiocarcinoma, and ovarian cancers, effectively inhibiting tumor growth, invasion, and metastasis.
