BCI-137
Argonaute 2 Inhibitor
BCI-137 is a potent inhibitor of Argonaute 2 (AGO2), which modulates key signaling pathways in tumor cells. By inhibiting AGO2, BCI-137 decreases protein levels of PTPN6/SHP-1 and enhances STAT1 phosphorylation, thereby restoring IFN-γ sensitivity in tumor cells. This compound also promotes CD8+ T cell recruitment, activation, and cytotoxicity, demonstrating synergistic effects in combination with anti-PD-1 antibodies, leading to significant tumor volume reduction in preclinical mouse models. BCI-137 is applicable in research on bladder cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, and other oncology-related studies.
