TF-FVIIa Inhibitor

BCX-3607 is a potent orally active inhibitor of the tissue factor/factor VIIa (TF-FVIIa) complex, exhibiting an IC50 of 4 nM. By selectively inhibiting TF-FVIIa, this compound effectively interrupts the extrinsic coagulation pathway and significantly prolongs prothrombin time (PT). BCX-3607 demonstrates both anti-thrombotic and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a valuable tool in the study of thrombosis-related diseases, as well as in research aimed at understanding the mechanisms of coagulation and inflammation.
