Benastatin B
GST Inhibitor
Benastatin B is a potent inhibitor of glutathione S-transferase (GST), specifically targeting the human pi class GST with an IC50 value of 1.10 μg/mL. This compound demonstrates broad-spectrum antibacterial activity, effectively inhibiting methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) with an MIC of 3.1 μg/mL.
