Benzothiohydrazide
Anti–tubercular
Benzothiohydrazide is an analogue of the anti-tubercular agent Isoniazid, targeting Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It demonstrates significant anti-tubercular activity, with minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of 132 μM against the wild type strain H37Rv and 264 μM against clinical mutant strains IC1 and IC2.
