Benzyl-α-GalNAc

O-Glycosylation Inhibitor

Benzyl-α-GalNAc is a potent inhibitor of O-glycosylation, primarily targeting glycosylation processes involved in cellular signaling. It has been shown to effectively inhibit the proliferation and activation of LX-2 cells, as well as suppress the expression of collagens I and III, making it valuable for research related to liver fibrosis. Additionally, Benzyl-α-GalNAc can enhance the anti-tumor efficacy of 5-Fluorouracil, particularly in pancreatic cancer, by mitigating O-glycosylation effects.
