BGSN3

Benzyl-Guanine Substrate

BGSN3 is a benzyl-guanine substrate targeted for use with SNAP-tag and H5 enzymes, demonstrating reasonable enzymatic activity with IC50 values of 17.8 µM and 10 µM, respectively. This compound functions as a click chemistry reagent, featuring an azide group that enables copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, BGSN3 can participate in strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules that possess DBCO or BCN groups, making it a versatile tool for biochemical research and labeling applications.
