Bixalomer

Phosphate Binder

Bixalomer is a phosphate binder designed to target and mitigate hyperphosphatemia. It demonstrates efficacy in reducing plasma phosphorus levels in chronic kidney disease (CKD) models by binding dietary phosphate in the small intestine, thereby decreasing its absorption. Bixalomer is valuable for research focused on the management of hyperphosphatemia in CKD.
