FPR2 Agonist

BMS-986331 is a potent and selective agonist of the N-Formyl Peptide Receptor 2 (FPR2) with an EC50 of 0.5 nM in humans and 1 nM in rats. It activates multiple G protein signaling pathways, including Gαi2, GαoA, Gα12, and Gα13, while recruiting β-arrestin1 and β-arrestin2, leading to inhibition of downstream cAMP levels. This compound promotes the expression and release of the pro-resolution cytokine IL-10 and has demonstrated potential to improve cardiac structure and function in rat models of heart failure. BMS-986331 can be utilized in research focused on heart failure therapies.
