BMVC
Antitumor Agent
BMVC is a potent G-quadruplex (G4) stabilizer and selective telomerase inhibitor, exhibiting an IC50 of approximately 0.2 μM. This reagent also inhibits Taq DNA polymerase with an IC50 of around 2.5 μM. By increasing the melting temperature of G4 structures at telomeres, BMVC promotes telomere length shortening, thus displaying significant anticancer activity. It serves as an essential tool for research in cancer therapeutics and telomere biology.
