Biochemical Assay Reagent
BMVC4 is a G-quadruplex (G4) stabilizer specifically targeting the human telomeric sequence d[AG3(T2AG3)3]. This compound exhibits enhanced suitability as a core molecule for G4 stabilizers and demonstrates significant potential for anticancer research applications. Using circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy, BMVC4 shows improved stability compared to other derivatives in the presence of trivalent cations. Additionally, a rapid screening method utilizing Cu2+-induced G4 unfolding can be employed to identify superior G4 stabilizers, emphasizing BMVC4's role as a promising candidate for further study in therapeutic settings.
