BN201
Neuroprotective Agent
BN201 is a neuroprotective agent that promotes the differentiation of precursor cells into mature oligodendrocytes, with an EC50 of 6.3 μM. It further enhances myelination of new axons at an EC50 of 16.6 μM. This compound effectively crosses the blood-brain barrier through active transport and activates the IGF-1 signaling pathway, which is linked to stress response and neuronal survival. BN201 exhibits potent neuroprotective effects, making it valuable for research in neurodegenerative diseases and neural regeneration.
