BpV(phen) trihydrate

PTP/PTEN Inhibitor

BpV(phen) trihydrate is a potent inhibitor of protein tyrosine phosphatases (PTPs) and PTEN, demonstrating IC50 values of 38 nM for PTEN, 343 nM for PTP-β, and 920 nM for PTP-1B. This reagent exhibits significant anti-parasitic activity against Leishmania in vitro and effectively stimulates the secretion of various chemokines and pro-inflammatory cytokines, activating a Th1-type immune response characterized by IL-12 and IFNγ production. Additionally, BpV(phen) trihydrate promotes apoptosis in certain cell types and possesses anti-angiogenic and anti-tumor properties, making it valuable for research in cancer and immunology.
