BpV(pic) potassium hydrate

PTEN Inhibitor

BpV(pic) potassium hydrate is a potent inhibitor of the phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) with an IC50 of 31 nM. This compound also acts as an insulin mimetic, promoting insulin receptor kinase activation in liver cancer cells and enhancing adipogenesis in adipocytes. Additionally, BpV(pic) potassium hydrate effectively inhibits the dephosphorylation of autophosphorylated insulin receptors and epidermal growth factor receptors, making it a valuable tool for studies in cancer biology and metabolic research.
