Inhibitor
BRITE-338733 is a potent inhibitor of E. coli RecA ATPase activity with an IC50 value of 4.7 μM, and it also targets the ATP hydrolysis activity of the RSC chromatin remodeling enzyme, demonstrating an IC50 of 0.316 μM. This compound has shown cytotoxic effects against MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cell lines. BRITE-338733 is suitable for research applications in the fields of antibacterial adjuvants and anticancer studies.
