BT173
HIPK2 Inhibitor
BT173 is a selective inhibitor of homeodomain-interacting protein kinase 2 (HIPK2). It functions by allosterically disrupting the interaction between HIPK2 and Smad3 without affecting the kinase activity of HIPK2 itself. This compound has demonstrated the ability to attenuate renal fibrosis by inhibiting the TGF-β1/Smad3 signaling pathway. BT173 is suitable for research in kidney diseases, particularly those involving fibrotic processes.
