BVDV NNI
BVDV-IN-1 is a non-nucleoside inhibitor (NNI) targeting the bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) by specifically binding to a hydrophobic pocket of the viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp). It demonstrates significant antiviral activity, with an EC50 of 1.8 μM, particularly against BVDV strains resistant to thiosemicarbazone (TSC) inhibitors. This compound is valuable for research focused on BVDV replication mechanisms and the development of antiviral therapies.
