BVFP
PGRN-SORT1 Inhibitor
BVFP is a PGRN-SORT1 inhibitor that binds to the PGRN588–593 peptide with a dissociation constant (Kd) of 20 μM. It effectively disrupts the binding of progranulin to sortilin (SORT1), thereby inhibiting SORT1-mediated endocytosis of recombinant progranulin (rPGRN). This reagent is valuable for research applications focused on neurodegenerative diseases and lysosomal trafficking.
