C6(6-Azido) GluCer

Lipid

C6(6-Azido) GluCer is a lipid featuring an omega-terminal azide, serving as a versatile click chemistry reagent. It is capable of undergoing copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) reactions with alkyne-containing molecules. Additionally, C6(6-Azido) GluCer participates in strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with compounds containing DBCO or BCN groups. This functionality allows for the selective labeling and modification of lipid molecules in various biological research applications.
