Cagrilintide

AMYR/CTR agonist

Cagrilintide is a long-acting acylated amylin analogue that acts as a nonselective agonist for amylin receptors (AMYR) and calcitonin G protein-coupled receptors (CTR). This compound has been shown to induce significant weight loss and reduce food intake, making it a valuable tool for research into obesity and related metabolic disorders. Its unique mechanism of action positions Cagrilintide as a promising candidate for studies aimed at understanding appetite regulation and energy balance in various biological contexts.
