CAIX Inhibitor S4
CA IX/XII Inhibitor
CAIX Inhibitor S4 is a potent and selective inhibitor of carbonic anhydrase IX and XII (CA IX/XII), exhibiting inhibitory constants (Ki) of 7 nM and 2 nM, respectively. It also shows inhibition of carbonic anhydrase II and I, with Ki values of 546 nM and 5600 nM, respectively. This reagent is effective in reducing lung metastasis in an orthotopic MDA-MB-231 mouse model while leaving primary tumor growth unaffected, making it a valuable tool for cancer research and metastasis studies.
