Epigenetic Multiple Ligand
CBP/p300-IN-23 is an epigenetic multiple ligand that selectively inhibits various protein targets, including Aspergillus nidulans RmtA with an IC50 of 29 μM, human PRMT1, and p300/CBP histone acetyltransferase. This compound effectively hinders the methylation of histone H3K4, H4R3, and H3R17 residues, influencing crucial cellular processes. CBP/p300-IN-23 also induces apoptosis and arrest in the S phase of the cell cycle, while promoting granulocytic differentiation in leukemia cells. It serves as a valuable tool for research into leukemia and related epigenetic pathways.
