CDFI

MurJ Inhibitor

CDFI is a selective inhibitor of the lipid II flippase MurJ, which plays a critical role in bacterial cell wall biosynthesis. By inhibiting MurJ, CDFI enhances the efficacy of β-lactam antibiotics against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). This compound is valuable for research into antibiotic resistance mechanisms and the development of novel therapeutic strategies against resistant pathogens.
