CdnP-IN-1

CdnP Inhibitor

CdnP-IN-1 is a highly selective inhibitor of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis cyclic dinucleotide phosphodiesterase (CdnP), exhibiting an IC50 value of 18 μM. This non-nucleotide compound selectively targets CdnP without affecting the enzymatic activities of other bacterial cyclic dinucleotide phosphodiesterases, such as Yybt, RocR, and GBS-CdnP, nor does it inhibit the viral phosphodiesterase poxin or mammalian ENPP1. CdnP-IN-1 is valuable for research applications aimed at elucidating the role of cyclic dinucleotides in Mycobacterium tuberculosis pathogenesis and potential therapeutic interventions.
