cDPCP
DNA Crosslinking Agent
cDPCP (cis-[Pt(NH3)2(N1-pyridine)Cl]Cl) functions as a DNA crosslinking agent, targeting DNA to disrupt replication and transcription processes. Demonstrating significant anticancer activity, cDPCP has been shown to improve survival rates in sarcoma-180 mouse models. This reagent is particularly valuable in research related to colorectal cancer and other malignancies characterized by the presence of specific cation transporters.
