CGS 26303
ECE Inhibitor
CGS 26303 is an endothelin-converting enzyme (ECE) inhibitor that increases the expression of ECE-1 in endothelial cells. This compound demonstrates the ability to attenuate cerebral vasospasm in a rabbit model of subarachnoid hemorrhage and enhances birth survival while alleviating pulmonary hypoplasia in newborn rats in a congenital diaphragmatic hernia model. CGS 26303 is a valuable tool for research focused on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, as well as congenital diaphragmatic hernia.
