CHD-1

Hypoxia-activated Antitumor Prodrug

CHD-1 is a hypoxia-activated antitumor prodrug that selectively disrupts mitochondrial morphology and membrane potential in hypoxic tumor cells. This compound induces excessive mitophagy and promotes apoptosis, leading to effective inhibition of hypoxic tumor cell growth in vitro. Additionally, CHD-1 demonstrates significant antitumor activity against HeLa xenografts in vivo, making it a valuable tool for cancer research focused on hypoxia-targeted therapies.
