Chlorasquin

Thymidylate Synthetase Inhibitor, Folate Antagonist

Chlorasquin is a potent inhibitor of thymidylate synthetase, exhibiting a Ki value of approximately 4.9 μM. As a folate antagonist, it demonstrates a stronger binding affinity to dihydrofolate reductase at alkaline pH compared to Methotrexate, suggesting its potential utility in the therapeutic exploration of antipsoriatic agents. Chlorasquin can be leveraged in research applications focused on cancer biology and antifolate studies.
