TRBP Inhibitor
CIB-L43 is an orally active inhibitor of TAR RNA binding protein (TRBP), demonstrating a dissociation constant (KD) of 4.78 nM. This compound disrupts TRBP-Dicer interactions, with an inhibitory concentration (IC50) of 2.34 μM. By suppressing the biosynthesis of oncogenic miR-21, CIB-L43 promotes increased expression of PTEN and Smad7, ultimately inhibiting AKT and TGF-β signaling pathways. These properties make it a valuable tool for studying hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell proliferation and migration.
