Cinromide

Anticonvulsant Agent

Cinromide is an anticonvulsant agent that functions by inhibiting the epithelial neutral amino acid transporter B0AT1 (SLC6A19), with an IC50 value of 0.5 μM. This inhibition is significant for studying transport-related disorders and may have implications in neurological research. Cinromide's effect on amino acid transport makes it a valuable tool for investigating the role of neurotransmitter modulation in seizures and other related conditions.
