cis-3-Indoleacrylic acid

Nematicidal compound

Cis-3-Indoleacrylic acid is a nematicidal compound sourced from Streptomyces youssoufiensis YMF3.862, known for its inhibitory effects on V-ATPase expression and activity. This compound effectively causes morphological changes in Meloidogyne incognita juveniles, resulting in swelling and visible cuticular cracks, with an LC50 of 16.31 μg/mL. Additionally, cis-3-Indoleacrylic acid impairs H+ accumulation within nematode bodies, making it a valuable reagent for research on nematicidal mechanisms and nematode physiology.
