Clofilium phosphate

Antiarrhythmic/Antifibrillatory Agent

Clofilium phosphate is an antiarrhythmic and antifibrillatory agent that primarily acts on cardiac tissue. It significantly prolongs action potential duration and effective refractory period in canine cardiac Purkinje fibers, elevating the ventricular fibrillation threshold while reducing the likelihood of reentrant arrhythmias. This compound is valuable for research into ventricular fibrillation, arrhythmias, and ventricular tachyarrhythmias, contributing to a deeper understanding of cardiac electrophysiology.
