Closantel-13C6
Stable Isotope
Closantel-13C6 is a stable isotope-labeled form of Closantel, a halogenated salicylanilide known for its potent anti-parasitic properties. It selectively inhibits Onchocerca volvulus chitinase (OvCHT1) with an IC50 of 1.6 μM and a Ki of 468 nM, effectively disrupting the development of larvae from the L3 to L4 stage. This compound is valuable in research focused on treatments for river blindness and other helminth infections.
